CHURCHES

At some venues the event will have been arranged and sponsored in part or in full by local churches, who might also provide volunteer supervisors to assist during school sessions.

Members of such churches are encouraged to come and see the exhibition after school hours, either in the afternoon or evening. Bible Ventures does not charge for such groups.

Non-sponsoring church groups are also welcome, but it is suggested they make a contribution, say £2 per head.

A4-size advertising posters are available from Bible Ventures.

TIMING

Generally adult groups arrange for a session starting at about 8pm on any weekday evening except Friday. The full session lasts 90 minutes, but individuals may leave during intervals between presentations, each of which last about 20 minutes.

Adult sessions, starting at around 4pm may also be arranged.

NB.  Not all schools can cater for visitors after school hours.

NUMBERS

For staffing reasons, the optimum small group is up to 18 visitors. The maximum per group is 36. Because of the adult presentations the minimum age is 17.

YOUTH GROUPS

Many church-operated youth groups wisely provide a variety of physical activities to enable children to let off steam at the end of a busy school week. While plenty of such facilities are available at Westbrook, the presentations offered in the Road Show have more of an academic slant, requiring watching, listening and learning, rather than recreational games.
Light refreshments are usually served to adult groups when visiting the aircraft compartment.

Please note that this vehicle has no easy access for the disabled.

There is a toilet onboard one of the trailers, but usually the school or church venue provides such facilities.
The adult programme includes a choice of excellent “faith-lessons” all filmed on location in Israel.
